# Events Functions

Use these functions to retrieve and use information related to specific events occurring as part of message sends. These events include bounces, forwards, not sent messages, and survey responses.

## Load

In your server-side JavaScript code, first load the core library using this syntax:

```
Platform.Load("core", "1");
```
