# Cancel a Scheduled Send

If you don’t want to send a scheduled message, cancel it. For example, if an email message contains outdated or incorrect information, cancel it to prevent it from being sent.

## Sample SOAP Envelope

This code example shows how to cancel a single instance of a scheduled send.

```xml
<s:Envelope
  xmlns:s="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope"
  xmlns:a="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/08/addressing"
