Tests whether an email address is well formed.

## Result Table

This table shows several function calls and the result of each one.

| Function | Result | Notes |
| ------------------------------------------------ | ------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `IsEmailAddress("pooja.chatterjee@example.com")` | `true` | |
| `IsEmailAddress("pooja.chaterjee@example")` | `true` | It's technically possible, although rare, to have an email domain that doesn’t include a top-level domain such as .com. |
| `IsEmailAddress("pooja.chatterjeeexample.com")` | `false` | This example is missing an at sign (@), making it invalid. |
| `IsEmailAddress("pooja@chatterjee@example.com")` | `false` | This example includes two at signs, making it invalid. |
| `IsEmailAddress("@example.com")` | `false` | This example is missing the local part (the part of the address that comes before the at sign), making it invalid. |
| `IsEmailAddress("pooja.chatterjee@.com")` | `false` | This example is missing a second-level domain, but includes a top-level domain. |
