# getDeviceId

Returns the `deviceId` used by the MobilePush SDK.

## Syntax

`MCCordovaPlugin.getDeviceId(successCallback, [errorCallback])`

## Kind

Static method of `MCCordovaPlugin`.

## Parameters

| Parameter                  | Type       | Description                                  |
| -------------------------- | ---------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| `successCallback`          | `function` |                                              |
| `successCallback.deviceId` | `string`   | The `deviceId` used by Engagement messaging. |
| `errorCallback`            | `function` |                                              |
