The Salesforce Engagement SDK, formerly called the MobilePush SDK, helps you integrate push notifications, in-app messages, and location-based messaging into your mobile apps. Use the SDK to engage users, track analytics, and deliver personalized experiences.
Get Started
Begin by integrating the SDK into your mobile apps:
- Integrate the SDK for Android
- Integrate the SDK for iOS
- Integrate the iOS Extension SDK to add support for rich notifications and delivery tracking on iOS.
If you use Cordova, React Native, or Flutter to develop your app, you can also integrate the SDK with those platforms.
Implement Core Features
After you integrate the SDK, implement its core features based on the needs of your app:
- Register Contacts and Devices — Associate devices with contacts and manage contact attributes and tags.
- Push Notifications — Send push notifications to users of your app.
- In-App Messages — Display messages within your app.
- Inbox Messages — Create a message inbox in your app.
- Location Messages — Send location-based messages using geofences and beacons.
- Analytics — Track user interactions and integrate with product recommendations.
- Event Tracking — Track custom events in your app.
Configure, Manage, and Maintain Your Apps
Manage the features of the SDK, test for and resolve implementation issues, and keep your app up-to-date:
- Validate Your Implementation — Test push notifications and registrations.
- Runtime Toggles — Enable or disable SDK features at runtime.
- Data Protection and Privacy — Implement privacy compliance features.
- Troubleshooting — Fix common SDK implementation issues.
- Upgrade the SDK — Use the latest features and receive security updates by implementing the latest version of the SDK for your platform.
