# Digital Commerce SDK Installation

The Digital Commerce SDK allows experienced software developers to create user applications that simplify and abstract the Digital Commerce APIs.

## Prerequisites

Please ensure you meet the following prerequisites before attempting to use the Digital Commerce Software Development Toolkit:

- Knowledge of software development using JavaScript.

- Knowledge using the npm package manager (see [https://www.npmjs.com/](https://www.npmjs.com/)).

- An integrated development environment (IDE) such as Microsoft Visual Studio (see [https://code.visualstudio.com/](https://code.visualstudio.com/)).
