# ProductCatalog

Represents a top-level catalog that groups related product categories and products for a specific sales channel or process, such as a sales catalog or a service-process catalog. This object is available in API version 68.0 and later.

## Supported Calls

`create()`, `delete()`, `describeLayout()`, `describeSObjects()`, `getDeleted()`, `getUpdated()`, `query()`, `retrieve()`, `search()`, `undelete()`, `update()`, `upsert()`

## Special Access Rules

No additional setup or permissions beyond standard object- and field-level security are required.

## Fields

### CatalogType

**Type:** picklist

**Properties:** Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Restricted picklist, Sort, Update

**Description:** Indicates the type of catalog, such as a sales catalog or a service-process catalog. Possible values are Sales and ServiceProcess—Service Process. The default value is Sales.

### Code

**Type:** string

**Properties:** Create, Filter, Group, idLookup, Nillable, Sort, Update

**Description:** A unique code that identifies the catalog. This field is unique within your organization.

### CurrencyIsoCode

**Type:** picklist

**Properties:** Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Restricted picklist, Sort, Update

**Description:** The ISO code for the currency used for amount fields on this record, in orgs with multicurrency enabled. Possible values are: AED (UAE Dirham), USD (U.S. Dollar), and every other active currency ISO code configured for the org. The default value is USD.

### Description

**Type:** textarea

**Properties:** Create, Nillable, Update

**Description:** A description of the catalog.

### EffectiveEndDate

**Type:** dateTime

**Properties:** Create, Filter, Nillable, Sort, Update

**Description:** The date and time on which the catalog stops being effective and available for use.

### EffectiveStartDate

**Type:** dateTime

**Properties:** Create, Filter, Nillable, Sort, Update

**Description:** The date and time on which the catalog becomes effective and available for use.

### LastReferencedDate

**Type:** dateTime

**Properties:** Filter, Nillable, Sort

**Description:** The timestamp when the current user last accessed a record related to this record.

### LastViewedDate

**Type:** dateTime

**Properties:** Filter, Nillable, Sort

**Description:** The timestamp when the current user last viewed this record.

### Name

**Type:** string

**Properties:** Create, Filter, Group, idLookup, Sort, Update

**Description:** The name of the catalog.

### NumberOfCategories

**Type:** int

**Properties:** Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort

**Description:** The number of product categories associated with this catalog. This is a calculated, read-only field.

### OwnerId

**Type:** reference

**Properties:** Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update

**Description:** The user or queue that owns this catalog. This field is a polymorphic relationship field.

**Relationship Name:** Owner

**Refers To:** Group, User
