# Accept Terms and Enable Access

Before you can use the Healthcare API, read and accept the terms and conditions of usage and enable access to Industry APIs. See [Enable Access to Industry APIs](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.access_industry_api.htm&type=5) in _Salesforce Help_.

**important:** To use the Industry APIs, you must purchase a Salesforce Healthcare API SKU. This industry API add-on is available to existing Salesforce Health Cloud users at no additional cost.
