Extensibility for TMF632 v5 Party Management API

For the TMF632 API, extensibility is enabled through Apex lifecycle hooks and customizable GraphQL queries and mutations. These extension points let customers adjust request processing, validation, persistence, and response payloads for Individual and Organization party resources without changing the TMF632 API contract.

You can use the extension points to:

  • Extend the main resource with additional fields.
  • Map fields from related Salesforce records.
  • Customize filters on the main resource and its sub-resources.
  • Apply custom sorting to query results.
  • Enrich GraphQL mutation payloads with custom fields or related records.
  • Apply custom request validations.
  • Refine or enrich API responses.
  • Implement customer-defined soft-delete behavior.

TMF632 Individual resources are backed by Salesforce Contact records. TMF632 Organization resources are backed by Salesforce Account records.

important: - For access methods, prerequisites, and using the API, see TMF632 v5 Party Management API.
