# Get Started with MuleSoft Direct for Automotive Cloud

Automotive Cloud integrations are available in MuleSoft Direct for customers to deploy to their MuleSoft instance. The integration APIs give the customers the flexibility to extend or customize the integrations as required. To learn more about the integrations, see [Integration Solutions with MuleSoft](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.industry_integration_solutions.htm&type=5).

Watch this video to understand how you can connect Salesforce and MuleSoft instance and turn on the integrations.

## 2. Connect Your Salesforce and MuleSoft Instance

## 3. Connect Your Salesforce and MuleSoft Instances

Securely connect your Salesforce and MuleSoft instances by logging in to your MuleSoft Anypoint Platform account or using the credentials from a connected app in your MuleSoft instance. See [Connect Your Salesforce and MuleSoft Instances](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.connect_to_mulesoft_instance.htm&type=5).

## 4. Enable Integrations

Turn on an integration to configure and deploy an instance of the integration and its dependent apps in your MuleSoft instance. Enable an integration multiple times to create multiple instances of the same integration. See [Enable Integrations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.enable_integration_assets.htm&type=5).

## 5. Extend Your Integration App

After you deploy an integration app in your MuleSoft instance, you can extend the app in Anypoint Studio to meet your business needs. See [Extend your Integration App](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.extend_your_application.htm&type=5).

After the integration asset is deployed, Salesforce creates a named credential for the integration instance. The named credential specifies the URL of a callout endpoint and its required authentication parameters in one definition. See [Named Credentials](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.named_credentials_about.htm&type=5) in _Salesforce Help_.
