# Set Up a Microsoft SharePoint Unstructured (Documents) Connection

Set up the Microsoft SharePoint unstructured connection to start the flow of data into Data 360.

| User Permissions Needed | |
| :---------------------- | :---------------------------------------------------------- |
| To create a connection: | System Admin profile or Data Cloud Architect permission set |

Before you begin:

- Complete the [Prepare Your Microsoft SharePoint Unstructured Connection](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/data/data-cloud-int/guide/c360-a-prepare-microsoftsharepoint-unstructured-connection.md) steps to gather the necessary Microsoft Azure app credentials.
- Verify that your admin has enabled firewalls on the system you want Data 360 to connect to by including these [IP addresses](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_data_cloud_ip_address_allowlist.htm&type=5) to your allowlists.

1. In Data Cloud, click **Setup**, and select **Data Cloud Setup**.
2. Under External Integrations, select **Other Connectors**.
3. Click **New**.
4. On the Source tab, select **Microsoft SharePoint Unstructured Data (Documents)** and click **Next**.
5. Enter a connection name, connection API name, and provide the authentication details.
6. For Authentication Details, enter the information you collected from [Prepare Your Microsoft SharePoint Unstructured Connection](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/data/data-cloud-int/guide/c360-a-prepare-microsoftsharepoint-unstructured-connection.md):
   - Client ID: The Application (client) ID from the Azure application.
   - Client Secret: Client Secret Value noted from the Azure application.
   - Token Endpoint: The Directory (tenant) ID from the Azure application with the format `https://login.microsoftonline.com/{tenant_id}/oauth2/v2.0/token`.
     For example: `https://login.microsoftonline.com/8019cf17-53d6-4a2e-9f97-38d8141d8ce1/oauth2/v2.0/token`
7. To review your configuration, click **Test Connection**.
   - The system verifies if the provided authentication values allow a successful connection to Microsoft SharePoint.
   - Follow the instructions on the screen if the connection fails.
8. After the connection test passes successfully, click **Save**.

After the connector details are accepted, the connection is created and listed under Connectors. You can now create unstructured data lake objects (UDLOs).
