Before you begin:

- Create conversion rules in LinkedIn Campaign Manager. See [Set up a Conversions API integration in Campaign Manager](https://www.linkedin.com/help/lms/answer/a1657171) for instructions. When creating a conversion rule in LinkedIn, select **Salesforce Data 360** as your data source.
- Assign supported conversion types to your conversion rules. See [Conversion tracking event types on LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/help/lms/answer/a528686?hcppcid=search) for the complete list of conversion types.

1. On the Activations tab, click **New**.
2. Select Data Model Object (DMO) as the activation type.
3. Select **Streaming** as the DMO activation type, and click Continue.
4. Select the Data Space, Data Model Object, and Activation target.
5. Optionally, select a Data Graph to enrich your DMO with additional fields. The Standard Event option is selected by default.
6. Select a conversion type. The Conversion rules get filtered based on the type.
7. Select the required Conversion rule. You must have created the Conversion Rule in LinkedIn Campaign Manager for it to appear as an option in this list. To create conversion rules in LinkedIn Campaign Manager, see [Create a conversion in Campaign Manager](https://www.linkedin.com/help/lms/answer/a9667156).
8. Map the Required and Optional Data 360 attributes to the partner’s configured attributes. See [Attribute Keys and Encryption](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/data/data-cloud-int/guide/c360-a-linkedincapi-connector.md#attribute-keys-and-encryption)

**tip:** Map the optional attributes to increase the chances of matching the user profile in the target platform.

10. Provide a name, an optional description, and an activation start and end date.
11. Click **Save**.
