# Prepare Your Google Ads Connection

Before you can set up a connection in Data 360, gather the required information and complete the necessary actions in your Google Ads account.

## Gather Info in Google Ads

1. Locate your Google Customer ID. The customer ID appears in the top-right corner of the Google Ads dashboard. Use this ID to identify the Google Ads account for the connection.

## Authorize Access to Google Ads

1. Obtain Google admin access to your Google Ads account. Only users with admin privileges can authorize external applications and manage credentials.
2. Grant Salesforce Data Cloud access to Google Ads when prompted during connection setup. Make sure that you select the correct Google Ads account and approve the requested permissions to enable data sharing.
