# Set Up a Demandbase Connection

Create a Demandbase connection to use as a data source into Data 360. With Demandbase connected to Data 360, you can use ‌intent data more efficiently and improve the customer profile.

Before setting up a Demandbase connection, keep in mind these considerations:

1. Have a Demandbase account, and configure your dashboard.
2. Have access to company and intent objects in Demandbase.
3. Turn on ‌ Secure File Transfer (SFTP) based data delivery on Demandbase.
4. Set the SFTP server location to the location of the intent and company files.

2. Under External Integrations, click **Other Connectors**, and then click **New**.
3. On the Source tab, select **Demandbase**, and click **Next**.
4. Enter a connection name, connection API name, and provide your Demandbase server details.

| Field | Description |
| -------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Authentication Method | Select SSH Private Key or SSH Private Key & Password. |
| Username | The SFTP account used to authenticate the connection. |
| Password | The password to authenticate the user. |
| SSH Private Key | To secure access, create an SSH key pair consisting of a public key and a private key. The public key is associated with the user on your SFTP server, and the private key is submitted in the SFTP connection. |
| Passphrase | To protect your Private Key for additional security, add an optional passphrase. |
| PGP Private Key | To secure your files at rest, create a PGP key pair consisting of a public key and a private key. A private key is submitted in the SFTP connection and facilitates decryption of the files encrypted at rest by using public key. |
| PGP Private Key Passphrase | to protect your PGP Private key for additional security, add an optional passphrase. |
| Host Name | The Demandbase server’s name or address, where the data is available or where it’s delivered. |
| Port: 22 (default) | The port that the Demandbase server is running on. |
| Parent Directory | The base directory where your data stream subfolders reside, for example, doc/datacloud/demandbase/ |
