This alignment provides seamless integration and greater interoperability between data produced by the two systems. A significant change that you need to be aware of involves how events are detected and counted. For example, if you are counting Email "Send" events, you'll be doing it differently depending on the data model your implementation uses. **note:** Existing implementations will see no change to their data model.
