# Delete Memories

Delete one or more memory entries. Identify each entry by its memory ID.

**URI:** `/api/v1/agentic/memory`

**Format:** `application/json`

**HTTP Method:** `DELETE`

**Authentication:** Bearer JWT

> **Note:** Deletion is permanent. You can't undo this action.

## Query Parameters

| Parameter    | Type   | Required | Description                                                   |
| ------------ | ------ | -------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| profile_id   | String | Yes      | Profile ID of the Individual or User.                         |
| profile_type | String | Yes      | Type of profile. Values: `individual`, `employee`.            |
| category     | String | Yes      | Partition key for the memory entries, such as `PROFILE_FACT`. |

## Error Codes

| Status Code | Description                                                     |
| ----------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| 400         | Bad Request. Invalid request format or missing required fields. |
| 401         | Unauthorized. Invalid or missing JWT token.                     |
| 404         | Not Found. The specified memory entry doesn't exist.            |
| 500         | Internal Server Error.                                          |
