| **REQUIRED EDITIONS, ROLES, AND PERMISSIONS** | |
| -------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Available in: | Enterprise, Unlimited, and Agentforce 1 Editions |
| To turn on, configure, or grant access to Agentforce Coworker: | Salesforce Admin Role and Agentforce Coworker Admin Permission Set |

## Before You Begin

- Verify that your org uses a Data Cloud One [companion org](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_companion_connections.htm&type=5).
- To use a new shared data space, first [create your new Data Space](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_data_spaces_create.htm&type=5).
- Make sure that the data space you plan to use is [shared with your companion org](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_companion_connection_setup.htm&type=5).

## Phase 1: Configure the Home Org

**note:** If Agentforce Coworker is already on in the home org, either plan to share the data space used in the home org or use a different home org that doesn't already have Agentforce Coworker enabled.

1. In your home org, go to Setup and enter `Agentforce Coworker` in Quick Find.
2. Follow the steps in [Turn On Agentforce Coworker](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/data/agentforce-coworker/guide/agentforce-coworker-turn-on-infrastructure.html).
3. (Optional) To make objects searchable in the companion org, first [make Data 360 Objects searchable](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/data/agentforce-coworker/guide/agentforce-coworker-connect-to-existing-data-sources.html) in the home org.

## Phase 2: Connect the Companion Org

1. In your companion org, [verify these statuses](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_data_cloud_one_monitoring.htm&type=5):
   - Connection Status is “Active.”
   - Companion Sync Status is “Succeeded.”
   - Initialization Status for the data space used by Agentforce Coworker is “Active.”
2. Set a Data Cloud Governance policy for the shared data space. Agentforce Coworker needs access to the object types in your data space to search them.
   - For most setups, [set an Allow All Objects policy](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_create_allow_all_policy.htm&type=5).
   - If your organization requires more control, [configure a custom policy](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_policy_based_governance_dg.htm&type=5) instead.
3. Follow the steps in [Turn On Agentforce Coworker](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/data/agentforce-coworker/guide/agentforce-coworker-turn-on-infrastructure.html).
