## Release Notes

This section covers the latest updates and changes to the Commerce APIs defined through the OpenAPI specification. For updates on other Salesforce Commerce API types, see the Salesforce Commerce Release Notes.

### Behavior Changes

#### Get Localized Order Status Values in the Order Summary Collection API

The [Order Summary Collection API](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/platform/connect-rest-api/references/connect-rest-api-commerce#tag/Commerce-B2B-Resources/operation/getOrderSummaryLookup) returns the `status` field in the field map localized to the shopper's language, including the Pending and Failed values.

**Note:** This change takes effect in the Spring '27 release. This advance notice gives you time to prepare your integrations beforehand.

Previously, the `status` field always returned in English, even when a shopper changed their language. If your integration parses or matches on the literal English `status` value, update it to handle localized values before the Spring '27 release.

#### Get Consistent Amount Values from the Order Summary Lookup API for Gross Tax Stores

For stores that use the Gross tax type, the [Order Summary Lookup API](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/platform/connect-rest-api/references/connect-rest-api-commerce#tag/Commerce-B2B-Resources/operation/getOrderSummaryLookup) returns the same amount values whether the response is backed by the order summary or the cart.

Review any integration or storefront logic that relies on these Order Summary Lookup API amount fields for gross tax:

*   [OrderSummary](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.object_reference.meta/object_reference/sforce_api_objects_ordersummary.htm): `TotalProductAmount`, `TotalAdjustedDeliveryAmount`, `TotalAmount`, `TotalProductAmountWithTax`, `TotalAdjustedProductAmount`
*   [OrderItemSummary](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.object_reference.meta/object_reference/sforce_api_objects_orderitemsummary.htm): `TotalPrice`, `TotalLineAmount`

**Note:** This change takes effect in the Spring '27 release. This advance notice gives you time to prepare your integrations beforehand.

Starting Spring '27, when this API returns a response with a null order ID, these amount fields will reflect corrected, consistent values at parity with responses with a non-null order ID. Confirm your calculations work with these values before the Spring '27 release.
