# Install the Tableau Next Embedding SDK

The Analytics Embedding SDK is available at [https://npmjs.com/package/@salesforce/analytics-embedding-sdk](https://npmjs.com/package/@salesforce/analytics-embedding-sdk)

**important:** Starting in July '26, you must use v2.0. The back-end Lightning Out support has upgraded and v1.0 and v1.1 are no longer supported.

To use the embedding SDK as a node package, run:

```bash
npm install @salesforce/analytics-embedding-sdk --save
```

Select the latest version of the SDK from the repository.

## Add the SDK Script to Your App

After you install the SDK, make sure that the downloaded SDK package is accessible to your web app.

Add the `<script>` tag to your web app.

### Example: ES6 module version

```html
<script type="module">
  import { initializeAnalyticsSdk } from "@salesforce/analytics-embedding-sdk";
</script>
```

### Example: Non-module version

```html
<script type="module" src="@salesforce/analytics-embedding-sdk"></script>
```
