# Copy Component Code Snippet from Tableau Next

Tableau Next provides a quick start for embedding code directly from your dashboard, visualization or metric. The embed feature creates component code for your selected asset, that you can copy and use in your web app.

1. Open your asset in Tableau Next, click **Share**, and select the **Embed** tab.
    ![Tableau Next insights embedded in a third-party web app](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/media/sdk/embedded_tn_embed_modal_upd.png '{"class": "image-framed"}')

2. To copy the code snippet for use in your web app, click **Copy Embed Code**. This snippet has a placeholder for the `AUTH_CREDENTIAL` value. This placeholder must be
3. replaced with the generated Frontdoor URL value when you copy the code to your web app.

If you have any filters applied to your dashboard, visualization, or metric, they aren't present in the code snippet. In Winter '26, these filters aren’t supported. Adding and using filters must be done programmatically in your web app code.
