# Step Three: Make an HTTP Request to Run a Report

Use cURL or Workbench to obtain data about your organization.

## Run a Report with Workbench

You can use the Workbench REST Explorer to make HTTP requests to Salesforce and obtain response data.

1. Log in to your organization.
2. Open a new browser tab and navigate to `https://developer.salesforce.com/page/Workbench`.
3. Log in to Workbench and allow access to your organization. Workbench is a public site and doesn’t retain your data.
4. Click **Utilities** | **REST Explorer**.
5. Choose **GET** as the HTTP method. The Execute text box is prepopulated with a portion of a resource path. Add the remaining information for your resource. For example, if your cURL syntax is

    ```nolang
    https://MyDomainName.my.salesforce.com/services/data/66.0/analytics/reports -H "Authorization: Bearer token"
    ```

    type

    ```nolang
    /services/data/66.0/analytics/reports
    ```

6.  Click **Execute**.
7. Click **Expand All** or **Show Raw Response** to view your data. Show Raw Response shows the JSON format response

**tip:** If you receive a “Service not found” message, verify your resource path.
