After you set up your virtual device builds, you can use them to debug your components just as you would in a web browser.
Required Editions
| Available in: all editions except Starter |
To get started with debugging your components, connect your desktop browser to the Playground App builds running on your virtual devices. Then, use developers tools—Safari for iOS and Chrome for Android— to view and interact with HTML markup, step through JavaScript code, and to see console logging and error messages.
The virtual device builds generated by the Playground App enable you to preview your mobile Lightning web components on a wide range of simulated iOS and Android devices. To install a build onto a simulated device, see “Preview Your Components” in the Salesforce Mobile App.
- Debug on iOS Using Safari Developer Tools
