# Manage Budgets

Set, allocate, and track financial budgets to maintain control and visibility over your rebate program commitments. Effective budget management allows you to prevent overspending, ensure funds are available for payouts, and accurately forecast liabilities.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Enterprise</strong>, <strong>Unlimited</strong>, and <strong>Developer</strong> Editions that have Rebate Management, Ship and Debit Process Management, Price Protection, or Stock Rotation enabled.</td></tr></tbody></table>

Managing your budget provides control over incentive spending and financial forecasting. You can:

- Set total budget.
- Prioritize high-performing partners by assigning specific portions of the total budget to individual program members.
- Manually track the actuals and budgets consumed.

Note You can’t delete a Budget or Budget Allocation record if it’s associated with an active claim or an eligibility record. You must maintain these records for audit integrity.
