1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Budgets**.
2. Click **New**.
3. Enter a **Budget Name** (e.g., 2026 Acme Rebate Budget).
4. To define a budget for a specific partner:
    1. Select the **Account**. This allows you to set a budget pool dedicated to a single Partner before allocating it to specific incentive programs.
5. To create a nested budget structure:
    1. Select a primary budget. You can allocate portions of a large corporate budget to specific incentive programs by creating sub-budgets. You can add a budget for a specific incentive or define a parent budget that is distributed across incentive specific budgets using a budget hierarchy.
6. Enter the total budget **Amount**.
7. Set the Effective **Date Range**.
8. Select the **Account**.
9. Click **Save**.
