# Create and Manage Group Folders

Help your site members manage documentation across the organization.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Quip desktop app</strong>, <strong>Quip iOS mobile app</strong>, and <strong>Quip on web</strong></td></tr></tbody></table>

Only Quip admins can create group folders. Many organizations create group folders for each team or organization. If you're an enterprise organization with 500+ people, talk to your Account Executive or Success Manager about specific folder recommendations for large companies. Depending on your access level, you can add or remove documents, add members, and more.

- Fewer than 8 members: Each folder member receives notifications about updates to documents in the folder.
- More than 8 members: A folder member receives notifications only if they turn on notifications for the folder in their notification settings.
