## Key Terms

 
| Term | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Loyalty program process | Contains the parameters and rules that you can use to define how and what to process. |
| Parameters | Contains the static and dynamic values that you can use in the conditions and actions of a rule. |
| Rules | Contains the conditions and actions that you can use to define a business scenario. To apply a rule during a promotion period, associate the rule with the promotion. |
| Conditions | Contains the conditions that determine the eligibility for one or more actions. |
| Actions | Contains the various types of actions that you can initiate. |
| Process Templates | Contains predefined parameters and rules that you can use to create loyalty program processes for transactional and nontransactional tasks. |
