The Pricing Specification defines conditions (such as discounts or surcharges) used in calculation steps. It maps to a relevant search strategy and determines execution behavior based on header or item level evaluation. Grouping conditions allow applying rules to specific subsets (buckets) of order items.

1. From the **App Launcher**, find and select **Pricing Specification**, and then click **New**.
2. Enter a **Name** and select a **Context Definition**.
3. Optionally, search for and select an **Internal Organization Unit**.
4. Click **Save**.
5. Open the pricing specification record, and click the **Expression Set Versions** link to open the builder.
6. In the builder, configure the **Pricing Specification** element card:

    - **Identification:** Link the Pricing Search Strategy.
    - **Specification Checkboxes:** Item Group Enabled, Subtotal.
    - **Pricing Level:** Select Order Header or Order Item.
    - **Price Impact:** Select the price impact behavior (for example, Plus).
    - **Rounding Method and Rounding Precision:** Select the Rounding Method and Rounding Precision (for example, Two).
    - **Pricing Specification Type:** Select the condition behavior (Price, Fixed Amount, Percentage, Free Goods, Last Valid Value, Minimum Value, Maximum Value, Summation, Additional Free Item, Flat Rate, or Multi-Buy).
    - **Base:** Select the attribute base for scale determination (_Volume_, _Weight_, _Value_, or _Quantity_).
    - **Manual Condition:** Check **Manual** if manual editing is permitted, and select the **Manual Source Attribute**.
    - **Scale Condition:** Select the Tier Type (From, To, or Graduated).
7. Click **Save**, and then click **Activate**.
