# Turn On Channel Marketing and Campaign Marketplace for Partners

Prepare Distributed Marketing, user access, email sharing, and CMS content before partners use vendor-approved campaigns.

Before you begin, turn on Distributed Marketing and Alerts Settings, obtain the required Partner Ecosystem Management and Marketing Cloud licenses, and assign access to Salesforce Go.

Important After you turn on the Distributed Marketing features for partners, you can’t turn them off.

1. From **Salesforce Go**, open the setup experience for **Channel Marketing**.
2. Turn on **Campaign Marketplace for Partners**.
3. Turn on sending Distributed Marketing messages from partner Experience Cloud sites.
4. Select the internal users who manage Channel Marketing, and assign the recommended access group.
5. Select the partner users who work with campaigns, and assign the recommended Experience Cloud access group.
6. Add an organization-wide email address for the Distributed Marketing flow and email templates.
7. In **Sharing Settings**, set the default internal and external access for list emails to **Public Read/Write**.
8. In the Marketing app, open the Marketing Cloud CMS workspace and add the partner site as a channel.
