1. From the gear icon, select Salesforce Go.
2. Search for Partner Connect (for Partners) (Beta) on the Salesforce Go Home page.
3. Turn on Partner Connect (for Partners) (Beta).
4. Create a Salesforce integration user:

    1. Click **Go to Setup**.
    2. On the Users page, click New User.
    3. Fill in the required fields in the General Information section.
    4. In the Email field, enter the email address of the vendor admin.
    5. For User License, select Salesforce Integration.
    6. Save the user details.

The vendor admin receives an email with a link to create a password for the integration user, which they use to complete Partner Connect setup in their org.
5. Return to the Salesforce Go setup page and mark the step as complete.
6. Follow the instructions on the setup page to assign permissions to the integration user.

Note To share specific objects or configure field-level access, create a custom permission set instead of using the default permissions. Limit the integration user’s access to only the objects and fields that are synced between the vendor and partner.
7. Add the Synced Record Preview component to the record pages:
    1. Click **Manage**.
    2. Click **Open in App Builder** for the object whose record page you want to modify.
    3. In Lightning App Builder, search for Synced Record Preview.
    4. Drag the component to your preferred location on the page layout.
    5. Save your changes.
    6. Return to the setup page and mark this step as complete.
