# Partner Connect Security and Design

The MuleSoft framework lets Partner Connect use APIs and security protocols to connect vendor and partner Salesforce orgs securely. As vendor and partner admins complete Partner Connect setup, Partner Connect deploys a dedicated app to each org. Each app uses OAuth 2.0 client credentials to integrate the two orgs securely. After Partner Connect establishes a secure connection, partners can export approved records from the vendor’s Experience Cloud site to their partner org. Vendors and partners both track progress in the other org through a read-only child record that Partner Connect creates automatically.
