# Get MDF Information from Your Partner Success Agent

Ask your Partner Success Agent about allocated, committed, available, and expiring market development funds (MDF) as you plan marketing activities.

### Required Editions

Your Partner Success Agent provides current information about your market development funds in a conversation. Ask a natural-language question, such as How much budget do I have left for Q3? The agent retrieves information from your partner fund allocation and partner fund request records and provides a summary. The response reflects the data available when you ask the question.

Depending on your records, the summary includes:

- Total allocated MDF: The original amount assigned to you for the period.
- Committed funds: Funds associated with approved requests that haven't been paid.
- Available balance: The amount that remains available to spend.
- Expiring funds: Funds that are approaching their expiration date. The agent warns you when funds expire soon, such as within 30 days.

Use the breakdown to understand your remaining balance and the funds that are already committed. Your Salesforce admin can tell you which supported messaging channels are available for your Partner Success Agent.

Note To get MDF information, ask your Salesforce admin to add the partner MDF skill to your existing Partner Success Agent if the skill isn't already available.

You ask, How much budget do I have left for Q3? The agent summarizes your total Q3 allocation, the amount committed to approved requests, and your available balance. If part of the allocation expires soon, the response also identifies the expiring amount.
