A scheduling policy controls whether Salesforce Scheduler considers calendars that partner users connect through Einstein Activity Capture.

1. Create or update the permission set that gives partner users access to Salesforce Scheduler.
2. Assign the permission set to each partner user who provides appointment availability.
3. From **Setup**, in the **Quick Find** box, enter Scheduling Policies, and then select **Scheduling Policies**.
4. Create a scheduling policy for partner appointments.
5. Select **External Calendar Integration Using Einstein Activity Capture**.
6. Save the scheduling policy, and record its API name.
7. Open the scheduling flow that your customer booking experience uses.
8. Set the scheduling policy input variable to the API name of the scheduling policy.
9. Save and activate the flow.
10. **Optional:** To add appointments to the Salesforce calendar, give partner users access to edit events and tasks.
