Set up the partner Experience Cloud site, and turn on Einstein Activity Capture (EAC). Confirm whether your company uses Google or Microsoft as its email provider. Before you add external partner users to a dedicated EAC configuration, assign them the required permission set.

A dedicated EAC configuration gives external partner users access to connect their calendars for appointment scheduling.

1. From **Setup**, in the **Quick Find** box, enter Einstein Activity Capture, and then select **Settings**.
2. Start the EAC setup.
3. Select your email provider, Google or Microsoft, and complete the provider setup.

    Select the user-level provider option.
4. Create an EAC configuration for external partner users.
5. Assign the **Partner EAC User** permission set to each partner user who connects a calendar.
6. Add the partner users to the EAC configuration.
7. Save and activate the configuration.
