Loyalty programs track expenses incurred by a program or a partner for member redemptions, accrual cancellations, and custom processes. These calculations can be used to determine the value a partner brings to the loyalty program.

Partner transactions are for using products and services of an associated partner. Members can accrue or redeem points for partner transactions. Points accrued by a member for a partner transaction are the partner’s liability towards the loyalty program. Points redeemed by a member for a partner transaction are the loyalty program’s liability towards the partner.
