Set Omnistudio Data Mappers to Use Managed Package Runtime and Objects (Managed Package)

For the managed package runtime, when the Managed Package Runtime setting and Omnistudio permission set licenses are enabled, Data Mappers use processes on the Salesforce platform. To have them use the Apex processes in the managed package runtime and custom objects, set RollbackDRChanges to true. Each setting applies to all instances of the Data Mapper component.

This information is for Omnistudio for Managed Packages. For Omnistudio on standard runtime, see Omnistudio Help.

When this setting is set to true, Omnistudio uses processes for Data Mappers in the managed package runtime’s Apex namespace instead of the Salesforce platform. The namespace is based on the managed package installed:

• The Vlocity namespace with the Insurance, CME, or Public Sector managed package (vlocity_ins, vlocity_cmt, or vlocity_ps)
• The Omnistudio namespace with the Omnistudio Foundation Package

This setting applies to previewing Data Mappers in the managed package designer, as well as calling them from an API, Apex, a Lightning page, or a page in an Experience Builder Aura site.

Note

This setting has no effect in standard runtime (when the Managed Package Runtime setting is disabled).

1. From Setup, open Omni Interaction Configuration.
2. Click New Omni Interaction Configuration to add a variable.
3. Add the following details.

4. Save the new variable.
