# Restart an Omniscript (Managed Package)

For the managed package runtime, navigate a user to a new instance of the same Omniscript using the Navigate Action. Enable a user to start over or repeat a process using the Restart Omniscript Page Reference Type. Place the Navigate Action in a Step to render it as a button or outside of a Step to run it automatically or conditionally.

1. From Omniscript, add a **Navigate Action** to the canvas.
2. Beginning with Summer '21 , in your Navigate Action's properties, click **Page Reference Type** and select **Restart Omniscript**.
3. Prior to Summer '21 , take these steps:

    1. In your Navigate Action's properties, click **Edit Properties As JSON**.
    2. Locate the node `"targetType"`, and set "Restart Omniscript" as the value.

        ```
        "targetType": "Restart OmniScript"
        ```
4. (Optional) Add a condition to run, or display, the action conditionally. See [Use the Conditional View Property to Conditionally Display Elements (Managed Package)](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.os_conditionally_display_elements_using_the_conditional_view_property.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "For the managed package runtime, every step, block, or element supports at least one Conditional View. Conditional Views allow you to hide the element or the group of elements contained in a block or step based on certain conditions. Elements contain up to three conditional view options depending on the type of element. For example, an Action outside of a Step doesn’t have a Read-Only option since the action isn’t visible.").
5. Save your settings and test the functionality.
