OmniOut Support for Native Mobile (Managed Package)

For the managed package runtime, you can use OmniOut to run OmnScripts on native mobile apps for both iOS and Android with a few exceptions for select settings, actions, and functions.

Managed Package app icon This information is for Omnistudio for Managed Packages. For Omnistudio on standard runtime, see Omnistudio Help.

For Android devices, rotating the mobile device (between portrait and landscape) reloads the OmniOut page and goes to the first page. All entered values are reset.

iOS devices, pressing a button sometimes isn't recognized: A button is highlighted but doesn't perform an action. Typically, this issue happens when you scroll through screens and click the next or previous buttons.

Also for iOS device, switching among apps (or locking and then unlocking the device) can refresh the app and restarts an Omniscript from the first step and resets all entered data.

Review the supported Omniscript elements in the tables for Omniscript Settings, Omniscript Action Elements, Omniscript Display Elements, Omniscript Function Elements, Omniscript Group Elements, and Omniscript Input Elements.
