# Migrate Your Omni Global Auto Numbers to the Testing Sandbox (Vlocity Industries Managed Packages and Custom Data Model)

Migrate your Omni Global Auto Numbers from your development sandbox to the testing sandbox to validate their configuration and behavior after migration.

Before You Begin

Make sure that the testing sanbox is prepared as described in the phase 1 prepare step. See [Prepare Your Org (Vlocity Industries Managed Packages and Custom Data Model)](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.os_migrate_phase1_step1.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Before starting the migration process, prepare your org by completing these steps:").

Important Run the Omnistudio Migration Assistant in Migrate mode in your testing sandbox only for Omni Global Auto Numbers.

1. Make sure your Omnistudio Migration Assistant tool is authenticated and active.
2. Run the Omnistudio Migration Assistant in Migrate mode:

    ```
    sfdx omnistudio:migration:migrate -u YOUR_ORG_USERNAME@DOMAIN.COM --only=autonumber
    ```

    Example: `sf omnistudio:migration:migrate -u asmith@sample.com --only=autonumber`
3. If multiple Omnistudio packages are found, select one of the packages by entering its number.
4. Enter y to confirm that all records listed in the **Assessment Status** column in the Assessment Report are marked as either **Ready for Migration** or **Warnings**.

    After the migration completes, a confirmation message appears indicating that the reports are ready for review. For example:

    ```
    Migration process for org <org_ID> is complete and reports are ready for review in the folder
            <local_folder_path>/migration_reports
    ```

    Where, `<local_folder_path>` represents the location on your machine where the migration reports are stored.

    The migration reports also appear in a new browser window.
5. Review the migration reports to make sure that all your Omni Global Auto Numbers show the **Successfully migrated** status. If there are any items that are marked as **Skipped**, review the items for any functional impacts. If there are items with the **Failed** status, contact Salesforce Customer Support.
