# Messaging Example (Managed Package)

For the managed package runtime, in this example, a Requirement message displays when a user is under the age of eighteen:

- The Messaging element's **Validation Expression** fails when the **Birthdate** field has a value, and the **AgeFormula** element is less than eighteen:

- The Formula element uses the **AGE** function to return the age of the user based on the date entered into the **Birthdate** element:
