# Integration Procedure Action for Integration Procedures

The Integration Procedure Action runs a subordinate Integration Procedure.

To specify that the subordinate Integration Procedure runs asynchronously, as a [Salesforce future method](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.apexcode.meta/apexcode/apex_invoking_future_methods.htm) (which can return no data to the calling Integration Procedure), select **Remote Options** and enter **useFuture:** as a key and **true** as its value. When you run the Integration Procedure, you can see the future call in the debug log. To pass in data as key/value pairs, use the **Additional Input** property.
