Configure Custom Object Permissions (Managed Package)

For the managed package runtime, configure custom object permissions to ensure that your users see Vlocity Card Layouts on Experience sites. Give access to the necessary objects.

  1. From Setup, type Users in the Quick Find box and click Profiles.
  2. Find the profile for the users who will be accessing the community and click Edit.
  3. Scroll to the Custom Object Permissions section.
  4. Select View All Records for these objects: Vlocity Actions, Vlocity Cards, and Vlocity UI Layouts.

    You can't change Custom Object Permissions for any of the default profiles. For these profiles, the checkboxes in this section are not selectable.

  5. Select Read, Create, Edit, Delete, and View All Records for the Vlocity UI Templates object.
  6. Scroll to the Field Level Security section, and click View next to the the Vlocity UI Templates object.
  7. Click Edit, and ensure that Readis enabled for the vlocity_cmt__Active__c field.
  8. Click Save.
