# Matching Keys for Custom Data Models (Managed Package)

For the managed package runtime, data packs use a custom metadata object called a Vlocity Matching Key to define the uniqueness of any SObject.

For Omnistudio on standard runtime, see [Omnistudio Help](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.os_omnistudio_standard.htm&language=en_US).

For Example, a Product2 in data packs is unique by the vlocity\_namespace\_\_GlobalKey\_\_c field by default. If your org has a different field that is used for uniqueness like ProductCode, you can override this matching key, and use your unique field instead.
