For the managed package runtime, add a state to a Flexcard to present different interactions and layouts based on specified conditions. Each Flexcard has a default state that cannot be deleted. Add a State element to the canvas of a Flexcard, or clone a state already on the canvas.
This information is for Omnistudio for Managed Packages. For Omnistudio on standard runtime, see Omnistudio Help.
To clone a state, see Clone a Flexcard (Managed Package).
- From the Flexcard Designer, drag a State element from the Build panel onto the canvas.
- (Optional) To create a state to display when there are no records available, select the Blank Card State checkbox. For example, when a data source returns no records from the Policy object, create a state with an Omniscript action to add a Policy.
-
In the Name field, enter the name of the state, such as
Active.
Note
The state Name is for internal use and does not appear on the generated LWC or in Preview.
- To add data fields and other elements, see Add Elements to a Flexcard (Managed Package).
- To add conditions that must be met for the state to display, see Add Conditions to a Flexcard State (Managed Package).
- (Optional) To style your state, click Style to open the Style panel, and see Style Flexcard Elements (Managed Package).
What’s next: Style your element. See Style Flexcard Elements (Managed Package).
