# View Promotions Categorized by Member’s Eligibility

Loyalty program managers and customer service reps can use the Promotion Eligibility component on Loyalty Program Member records to view members’ eligibility for promotions. The component categorizes promotions that members are enrolled in, are eligible for but not enrolled in, and are ineligible for. The component also provides users access to list views that users can use to enroll members in eligible promotions.

The component can also categorize promotions based on whether the member belongs to the promotion’s Data Cloud segment. For the component to categorize promotions based on the promotion’s segment, admins enable the [Verify Member Data Cloud Segment for Transactions and Promotions](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.promotion_setup_rule_cdp_setting.htm&type=5&language=en_US) in Setup. This setting ensures that promotions that aren't related to a member’s segment is categorized as an ineligible promotion for the member.

For promotions that are associated with Data Cloud segments, the component only lists promotions associated with segments whose activation’s last publish status is Success. The component ignores segments whose last publish status isn’t Success.

The Promotion Eligibility component doesn’t categorize promotions that don’t match these criteria:

- Status is active
- Promotions belong to the member’s loyalty program

The Promotion Eligibility component categorizes promotions based on specific criteria and logic:

If a promotion is related to a campaign with no campaign members, all loyalty program members are considered eligible for the promotion.

The component lists six promotions in each category. Users can search for a particular promotion to see which category the promotion belongs to. Users can also go from the component to the list views to see a complete list of promotions for each category. The component also categorizes all promotions as ineligible for Group type members and members who are either inactive or merged.

1. On the Loyalty Program Members related list on a Loyalty Program record, click the member that you want to view promotions for.
2. Review the Promotion Eligibility component on the record.
3. To enroll the member for an eligible promotion that the member isn’t enrolled in:
    1. Click **View All Promotions**.
    2. Select the **Not Enrolled Promotion** list view.
    3. Click ![Dropdown](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-xcloud-loyalty_management-264-0-0-production-enus/0590ce3e-5a09-45ab-8e5e-68f359c35886/loyalty_management/images/dropdown_icon.png) next to the promotion that you want to enroll the member in.

The Promotion Eligibility component is embedded in the Loyalty Member Profile component that can be added on Contact and Account records. Admins can turn on the visibility of the Promotion Eligibility component within the Loyalty Member Profile component. By using the component, customer service reps can view a member’s promotion eligibility on Contact and Account records and avoid navigating to the member’s Loyalty Program Member record.
