# Reward Members for Loyalty Program Enrollment (Example)

Reward new members with an enrollment bonus.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience in&nbsp;<strong>Enterprise</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Performance</strong>, <strong>Developer</strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Unlimited</strong>&nbsp;Editions that have Loyalty Management enabled.</td></tr></tbody></table>

**Create a Flow to Award Points to Members**

New members of the Corporate Loyalty Program are awarded with 200 points as a part of loyalty program enrollment.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select **Flows**.
2. Click **New Flow**.
3. Select **Record-Triggered Flow**, and click **Next**.
4. On the Start element, click **Choose Object**.
5. Select **Loyalty Program Member**, and provide these details:
    
    - Condition Requirements: All Conditions Are Met
        - **Field:** MemberStatus
        - **Operator:** Equals
        - **Value:** Active
6. Click **Done**.
    
    To check if the member belongs to the Corporate Loyalty Program, perform these steps:
7. Click +.
8. Select **Decision** and provide these details:
    
    - **Label:** Check Loyalty Program Name
    - In the New Outcome tab, complete the following fields:
        - **Label:** Corporate Loyalty Program
        - **When to Execute Outcome:** All Conditions Are Met (AND)
        - **Resource:** {!$Record.Program.Name}
        - **Operator:** Equals
        - **Value:** Corporate Loyalty Program
9. Click **Done**.
    
    To get Accrual Journal Type and Enrollment Bonus Journal Subtype records, perform these steps:
10. Click +.
11. Select **Get Records** and provide these details:
    
    - Label: Get Accrual Journal Type
    - Object: Journal Type
    - Condition Requirements: All Conditions Are Met
        - **Field:** Name
        - **Operator:** Equals
        - **Value:** Accrual
        - **How Many Records to Store:** Only the first record
12. Click **Done**.
13. Click +.
14. Select **Get Records** and provide these details:
    
    - Label: Get Enrollment Bonus SubType
    - Object: Journal SubType
    - Condition Requirements: All Conditions Are Met
        - **Field:** Name
        - **Operator:** Equals
        - **Value:** Enrollment Bonus
        - **How Many Records to Store:** Only the first record
15. Click **Done**.
    
    To create transaction journal records, perform these steps:
16. Click +.
17. Select **Create Records** and provide these details:
    
    - Label: Create Journal For Enrollment
    - How Many Records to Create: One
    - How to Set the Record Fields: Use separate resources and literal values
    - In the **Create a Record of This Object**, select object **Transaction Journal**
    - In the **Set Field Values for the Transaction Journal**, specify these fields and values.
        - **ActivityDate:**{!$Record.EnrollmentDate}
        - **JournalDate:** {!$Flow.CurrentDateTime}
        - **MemberId:** {!$Record.Id}
        - **LoyaltyProgramId:** {!$Record.Program.Id}
        - **UsageType:** Loyalty
        - **JournalTypeId:** {!Get\_Accrual\_Journal\_Type.Id}
        - **JournalSubTypeId:** {!Get\_Enrolment\_Bonus\_SubType.Id}
18. Click **Done**.
    
    To credit points for the transaction journal records, perform these steps:
19. Click +.
20. Select **Action**.
21. In the Category section, select **Loyalty**.
22. Search and select the **Credit Points** action and complete these fields:

    | Program | Corporate Loyalty Program |
    | Currency Type | Points |
    | Recipient Member ID | {!$Record.Id} |
    | Number of Points to Credit | 200 |

    | Promotion ID | 2X Double Points Promotion |
23. Click **Done**.
24. Save the changes.
25. Name the flow Member Enrolment Bonus, and save the changes.
26. Activate the flow.
