Required Editions

Available in: Developer, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions. Requires the Privacy Center license.
User Permissions Needed
To create, edit, and run Right to Be Forgotten Policies: Manage Privacy Center Policies
  1. From the Privacy Policies page, select the RTBF policy that you want to manage.
  2. Choose an option for your policy.
    • Publish saves any recent changes to your policy and activates it. Publishing your policy is required before you can assign it to an RTBF request. Make sure to publish your policy each time you update it.
      Note
Note The Publish action can sometimes take a minute or longer. A confirmation message appears when the process completes.
    • Edit opens a window where you can change the policy’s name or description.
    • Deactivate makes your policy unavailable to use with RTBF requests. If you deactivate a policy that's assigned to an RTBF request, the scheduled job session for that request is canceled.
    • Delete removes your policy from the org. Deleted policies can’t be recovered.
