Voucher Validity

Business Requirement How It Works
Voucher recipients can redeem vouchers as soon as they’re issued.

The voucher definition that's used to issue a voucher consists of an effective date. If the date on which a voucher is issued is before the effective date of the voucher definition then the voucher's effective date is the same as the voucher definition's effective date. If the date on which a voucher is issued is after the effective date of the voucher definition then the voucher's effective date is the same as the current date.

When issuing a voucher, you can change the effective date of the voucher based on your requirement.

Voucher is redeemable starting vouchers from a specific date.
Voucher recipients must not be able to redeem vouchers after they’ve expired Loyalty Management removes expiring unused vouchers that are past their expiration date with an automated process behind the scene.
