# Issue Vouchers for Eligible Customer and Member Activities with Flow Builder

Your company can issue vouchers to contacts, person accounts, and loyalty program members as part of automated business flows that the admin has already set up for your company. For example, the Issue Voucher action can be added to a flow that processes customer orders or to a flow that creates transaction journals for activities completed by loyalty program members. The flows can be configured to verify whether customers or members are eligible for a voucher and then use the Issue Voucher action to issue the voucher that’s relevant to them.

## Customizations Available in the Issue Voucher Action

Here's how you can use the capabilities of the Flow Builder in the Issue Voucher action:

- Use a resource to calculate the discount offered by the voucher.
- Use a resource to decide the period for which issued vouchers are valid.
- Generate the voucher code in an external system and use it in the action.
- Store the ID of the issued voucher as a resource and use in a subsequent action or condition.
