Issue Vouchers as a Reward

There are various ways in which you can issue vouchers as a reward to customers and members of your loyalty program. For example, vouchers are issued to customers and loyalty program members for completing a purchase or an experiential activity. Either loyalty program managers or admins can set up automated processes that check for a customer's or a loyalty program member's eligibility for a voucher and issue it to them. Vouchers can also be issued to contacts, accounts, and loyalty program members as a promotion reward.

  • Issue Vouchers for Transactions and Promotions with Promotion Setup
A loyalty program can issue vouchers to its members for completing activities that are eligible for a reward. For example, members can be issued a voucher for shopping on their membership anniversary or for posting about your company on their social media handles. When setting up a loyalty program rule, program managers can use the Issue Voucher action to automate the process of issuing vouchers to members whenever they meet the eligibility conditions for a voucher.
  • Issue Vouchers for Eligible Customer and Member Activities with Flow Builder
Your company can issue vouchers to contacts, person accounts, and loyalty program members as part of automated business flows that the admin has already set up for your company. For example, the Issue Voucher action can be added to a flow that processes customer orders or to a flow that creates transaction journals for activities completed by loyalty program members. The flows can be configured to verify whether customers or members are eligible for a voucher and then use the Issue Voucher action to issue the voucher that’s relevant to them.
  • Issue Vouchers as Promotion Reward with Quick Promotion Guided Setup
Vouchers are a common reward option for pricing and loyalty promotions. In the Quick Promotion guided setup to create a promotion, marketing managers and loyalty program managers choose the voucher definition to issue vouchers. For example, a marketing manager can set up a promotion to issue customers a 10% discount voucher whenever customers buy Level X shoes. Or loyalty program managers can create a promotion that issues vouchers to members when they shop for US $50 or more during their birthday week.
  • Issue Vouchers for Externally Managed Processes with Process Template
If vouchers have to be issued to loyalty program members for business processes that are managed outside Salesforce, program managers can use the Issue Voucher process template. After program managers activate a process that's created using the template, system integrators can integrate the process with external systems via a business API. For example, the business API can be integrated with an external order management system and the process can be run every time an order is delayed.
