Automatically Transfer Points to a Member Group

Automate the process of transferring points from members to their associated membership groups in real-time when points are credited to them. The automation calculates and transfers points to each group based on the member’s contribution percentage for each group. This automation ensures that there is no duplication in the transfer of points.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Loyalty Management - Growth or Loyalty Management - Advanced.

Tip

• When you turn on the setting, there might be unprocessed records after the last batch process of transferring points using the Transfer Member Points to Groups action. Make sure to process them manually.
• When you turn off the setting, unprocessed records might remain. Use the Transfer Member Points to Groups action to manually process them.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Loyalty Management, and then select Loyalty Management Settings.
2. Turn on Transfer Points to Member Group Automatically.
